Our Mission Statement
At Missouri Shooting Star, we are dedicated to providing high quality, firearms safety training, and concealed carry weapons permit training for the citizens of Missouri. It is our belief that firearms related accidents are avoidable, and if people use firearms in a safe and responsible manner, it presents a better overall image of firearms owners. That image, as it applies to firearms, weapons and self-defense, carries over, to give us a more favorable political influence, with our legislators and other elected officials.
We will do our best to provide that training, in an interesting and motivational way, which exceeds the client’s expectations.
As the training we provide relates to concealed carry weapons permits for citizens, we will strive to equip our clients with the knowledge and attitude needed, to handle, shoot, and carry weapons for self-defense, safely.
We will equip citizens with the knowledge and awareness of Missouri Laws as they relate to weapons and self-defense.
We will introduce citizens to practical aspects, of carrying and using weapons for self-defense, going beyond what Missouri law requires.
We will be available for our clients, to answer questions that may arise for that individual.
In the process of teaching others, we will not forget that everyone is an individual, and as an individual, they have different levels of skill and natural ability.
We will treat everyone honestly, and treat him or her with respect.
We will not allow ourselves to get an overbearing, know it all attitude.
We will graciously accept constructive criticism, acknowledge our shortcomings, and always strive to improve the service that we provide for our clients.
We will keep our overhead costs low, so that we can provide these services at a fair price.
We will do our best to achieve these things, because we are dedicated to weapons safety, the God given right of self defense, and the protection given to that right, as stated in the Bill of Rights, in the Constitution of the State of Missouri, and the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America.
I spend alot of my personal time trying to keep my fellow citizens informed about concealed carry laws, weapons laws, and safety. That being said, if you are looking for certain information and can't find it, please e-mail me and I will try to help you. As a firearms instructor I am dedicated to helping you, whether you have taken a class with me or not. I would love to have you as a loyal client, and get referrals from you, but to help you be a safe, responsible citizen, is more important to me.

First of all I would like to tell you that we all thoroughly enjoyed your ccw course. We all walked away from the course having learned something new about firearms and firearms safety. The course was well organized and the material was delivered in a clear cut concise manner. It was obvious that you where very educated and knowledgeable about the topics discussed and passionate about firearms safety and self defense. I would recommend your class, and I will, to anyone looking into getting their ccw permit. I will also be looking into other courses you offer in the near future.

It was my Birthday present from the wife. Even with only having 2 students for the class that day, he still held the class. It was not a fancy place, but it got the point across, a down to earth Instructor who has a passion for living the American dream and fighting for our rights as flag flying, gun carrying Americans. He gave it to you with real world experience and hard law facts. No question was to stupid to ask, I mean your talking about your life. The instructor is very nice and very informative. I was not worried about the shooting part of the class,
but still learned new techniques. Everyone I know who is even thinking about CCW I tell to talk to Karl.(BEST PRICE AROUND TOO) . Kevin
Me,my wife.dad,sister,and a couple of friends did this it was alot of fun.The class was small, so it was very, almost one on one traing.The instuctor is very nice and very informative. My wife only shot one time before this class and with his training, passed no problem.
