Missouri Shooting Star www.MoShootingStar.com karl@moshootingstar.com 314-277-9267 Missouri CCW License Course To be prepared for the class, you need: Get a good nights rest, we will cover a lot of information and spend time on the firing range. Your Missouri Drivers License or Missouri State ID. Enough drinks, snacks, and lunch to get you through an eight to ten hour day. (bottled water is always a good idea) No alcoholic beverages allowed. Dress for the weather. The firing range portion of the class is outdoors. Wear proper shoes. Make sure you are prepared. You may need raingear, sunscreen, coat, gloves, etc. Ear and Eye protection is required. A cap is recommended. A strong side belt holster for the gun you will be using and a sturdy belt is optional. Extra magazines and or speed loaders are helpful if you have them. Semi-automatic pistol and a double action revolver. If you don’t have one or both let me know in advance and arrangements will be made to provide them for you to use. I suggest that you use a handgun that you plan to carry but it is not required. I do not allow single action revolvers to be used for the shooting portion of this class. You will need to provide your own factory ammunition. You need 70-100 rounds of factory ammunition, including a minimum of 20 rounds for the handgun that you wish to qualify with. You are required to shoot at least 50 rounds practice and 20 rounds to qualify. Example 1: You would like to shoot the revolver that you bring more than your semi-auto that you plan to qualify with. (or vice versa) You could bring 50 to 80 rounds for your revolver and 20 to 50 rounds for your semi-auto. You must shoot both. Example 2: You could bring 6 rounds for your revolver and the rest for your semi-auto. (If you have any questions, contact karl@moshootingstar.com.)
