Practical Defensive Pistol, for the armed citizen.
If you would like to take this class and you meet the Pre-requisites, send me an e-mail and let me know if you prefer a weekday or a Saturday. Be sure and include your name, and a phone number. I will contact you when I have an opening.
We won't waste your time with obscure tactics intended for law enforcement or military personel. This class is designed for the armed civilian, and will teach you new skills and/or help you to sharpen the skills that you already have. After the class is finished, (time permiting) the range will remain open for you to work on the skills that you believe that you need more help with. The entire class takes place on the shooting range, there is no classroom portion to the class. This is for semi-auto pistols only.
E-mail me if you would like to see this class offered for revolvers.
Length of this class is 6 hours minimum.
(Class time will vary depending on the skill level of the participants.)
I suggest that you plan for the entire day.

There is no one best method or technique that will work for every situation.
The techniques that I use, are used by other instructors also, but they are not the only ones that are accepted and used. I have chosen drills that, in my opinion, are suitable for most armed citizens, and the intended purpose of the particular drill, but may not be suitable for every situation, or for every person. Everyone's body has different limitations. One of the reasons for this class is so you, can figure out what does, and what doesn’t work for you. That being said, I suggest that you study other methods also, and use the methods that you believe to be the best for you. Topics discussed in this class are not to be considered legal advice, only my opinion. Consult an attorney for legal advice.
